POSITION SUMMARY
The Analyst of Development will provide analytical and research support to the development and transactional support teams for new and existing health system joint venture partnerships, in-market network development, and health system joint venture partnership governance deliverables.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop joint-venture strategic market assessments.
- Assist with Development department Statement of Work billing and capital tracking.
- Support the Development team in the execution of acquisition and de novo transactions from start to finish, working closely with Development leads.
- Assist in the preparation of financial models, business valuations, and other materials to be used in presentations and as support for deal processes.
- Assist in the preparation of the private placement memorandum to be utilized in transactions.
- Advise senior leadership on alternative strategies for the acquisition and restructuring of businesses.
- Conduct facility-specific due diligence and research in support of transaction activities.
- Perform total addressable market analyses for existing and prospective markets.
- Assist Development leads with developing health system joint venture partners’ strategic growth plans and capital requests.
- Perform proprietary analytical scoring for in-market acquisition opportunities.
- Facilitate internal, cross-functional data requests, pipeline reporting, and deal metric benchmarking.
- Research and analyze open and closed-sourced market data for an informed project targeting.
- Create internal and external reporting deliverables for Atlas Board, Atlas Investment Committee, and JV Boards.
- Develop health system and individual ASC opportunity pitch decks.
- Identifies opportunities in the market for acquisitions and future developments.
- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Additional education is preferred. 2-3 years of experience in healthcare and corporate development mergers and acquisitions.

SCOPE AND COMPLEXITY
- Must be comfortable working in-person in a collaborative environment, as well as remotely and independently with limited supervision. Must be comfortable with financial and strategic analysis and supporting Atlas’s development and transactional objectives for new and existing health system joint ventures. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable communicating with executives, physicians, operational and development personnel.
Compensation: $58,892 - $69,284
