Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Development and Integration and working closely with the Development Leads and Senior Management to the meet the goals of the department and organization. The Director of Development will lead, manage and execute on development activities in an effort to propel the organizations growth. The Director of Development will be responsible for but not limited to:
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Prepare and present valuations of potential acquisitions targets, including analysis of financial statements, strategic ranking, and physician partners
  • Manage and lead due diligence process for acquisition targets, including detailed work plans and facilitating team meetings
  • Prepare pro-formas for new acquisitions, including volume, financial statements, cash flow, and other key measures
  • Prepare pro-formas in order to assess viability of denovo facilities through modeling of project costs, working capital, financial statements and cash flow
  • Present pro-formas to senior management in order to gain approval of projects
  • Manage and lead integration process for acquisition and de novo projects, including detailed work plans and facilitating team meetings
  • Develop relationships with and provide excellent customer service to Development Leads and Regional/Senior VPs
  • Analyze actual results compared to budget for projects post-close, including variance analysis and key measures
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis on current facilities in order to evaluate growth opportunities
  • Assist with other projects as assigned by the SVP, Development and Integration

Skills & Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.  A minimum of five years of relevant experience required. Ability to independently travel as needed. Extremely strong communication skills both written and verbal. Extremely strong financial and analytical skills. Proficient skillset using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to convey the appropriate insights. Strong presentation skills in one-on-one, executive briefings and large audience settings. Ability to present complex concepts in a clear, concise manner. Well developed multi-tasking and project management capabilities with efficient time management skills.
