POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of Business Operations serves as a strategic leader and resource for assigned ASC Clients and Regional Market Leadership; serves as the liaison between Atlas Revenue Cycle and Central Business Services, Regional Market Leadership and the ASC Client; and continuously drives revenue cycle metrics to improve the Client’s and Market’s revenue results.
The position is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the Business Office Operations of the ASC Client in all areas relating to revenue cycle management, including advising and developing Business Office leadership; defining tactical objectives and process improvement initiatives; executing training and development of Business Office staff; and providing analytical review combined with measurement tools to ensure success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
We are seeking an experienced ASC business operations leader with deep expertise in front-end revenue cycle management to support both integration of newly acquired ASCs and ongoing oversight of ASC business office operations.
This role is primarily focused on front end revenue cycle functions: scheduling, registration, insurance verification, authorization, and patient financial estimates, ensuring these functions are standardized, well-trained, and consistently executed to drive strong financial performance and patient experience.
- Leading front-end RCM integration for newly acquired ASCs, including workflow evaluation and design, system setup, training, and go-live stabilization
- Standardizing front-end business office processes across a multi-site ASC portfolio
- Training and coaching ASC business office leaders, who will in turn manage and train ASC schedulers, registrars, and business office teams (Train the Trainer model).
- Providing ongoing oversight to ensure consistent execution, accountability, and performance utilizing data supported analytics to identify gaps and deploy immediate remediation measures.
- Partnering with ASC Operations, centralized RCM, and physician practices to improve cash flow, reduce downstream denials, and optimize net revenue
- Provides direction and development support to Client’s Business Office leadership to ensure Client’s strategic objectives are met along with all key Revenue Cycle performance metrics.
- Partners with Revenue Cycle team members, Client’s management team and appropriate stakeholders to perform and present detailed analysis of revenue cycle business office and operational metrics.
- Facilitates regular scheduled meetings to report performance, concerns, training, and improvement plans with key stakeholders.
- Delivers ongoing training and development support to Client’s Business Office leadership and staff.
- Engages with the Client, Regional, and National Atlas Leadership to meet, and preferably exceed, performance goals.
- Challenges the best practices and seeks opportunities to drive process improvements.
- Develops and implements action plans to address and improve deficiencies in process and performance as identified.
- Collaborates with on-site resources in service delivery and problem solving to maximize solution offering and client satisfaction.
- Provides comprehensive, succinct updates to Atlas Leadership to drive awareness of any Client support requirements and/or risks that could impact service delivery.
- Partners with the ASC Success Manager to represents Atlas’ Revenue Cycle operations in market-based leadership forums, including physician and health system partner meetings.
- Partner with Revenue Cycle and other Atlas team members to develop consistent reporting
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Atlas Director, Revenue Cycle as required to meet the business needs of Atlas and other stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of ASC operations or revenue cycle leadership experience
- Experience supporting multi-site ASC portfolios and joint venture environments
- Experience supporting multi-site ASC portfolios and joint venture environments
- Strong preference for candidates with enterprise-level ASC management experience
- Experience with RCM and business office technologies
- Strong understanding of Business Office Operations within an ASC setting and/or demonstrated, relevant knowledge.
- Proven success in project management roles, to include developing and implementing business initiatives.
- Understanding of the industry trends, market dynamics, and key performance indicators.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with HST Pathways (strongly preferred) or comparable ASC practice management systems and have successfully led ASC integrations, system conversions, and staff training across multiple sites.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent demonstrated academic achievement.
- Proven success in project management roles, to include developing and implementing business initiatives.

Possesses advanced analytical skills, including expertise in MS Excel and the ability to identify trends in data-heavy environments, while remaining adaptable and flexible in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Compensation: $83,846 - $134,000
