JOB TITLE
Seasonal Intern
POSITION SUMMARY
The Seasonal Intern supports the day to day operations of the assigned location or department by assisting with administrative, operational, and project based tasks. This position is designed for high school students to gain practical workplace experience, develop professional skills, and learn about departmental functions in a structured, supervised environment. The internship is temporary and seasonal in nature.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist department staff with routine administrative and operational tasks
- Support data entry, research, filing, document organization, and record maintenance
- Participate in department projects as assigned, including research and basic analysis
- Prepare materials, reports, or presentations under supervision
- Attend meetings or training sessions to learn departmental processes
- Follow organizational policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned within scope of training and experience
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in high school (junior or senior preferred)
- At least 16 years of age (or as required by applicable labor laws)
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and common office software
- Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
- Strong willingness to learn and take direction
- Reliable attendance and punctuality

- Interest in or coursework related to the assigned department
- Basic organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Prior volunteer, school, or part time work experience
- Customer service or teamwork experience through school or extracurricular activities

- Requires extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking.

SCOPE AND COMPLEXITY
This position performs routine, clearly defined tasks that follow established procedures and guidelines. Work is structured to support learning and skill development, with duties increasing gradually as experience is gained. The intern has limited decision making authority and does not exercise independent judgment on complex matters. All work is completed under close supervision and reviewed by assigned staff or management.
